  • Look in different environments for minibeasts – we are fantastic nature detectives!
  • Use our role play area to develop vocabulary about minibeasts
  • Use an identification mat to read and match the names of minibeasts to the photographs
  • Count in 2s and 10s
  • Count to 100 and identify the number
  • Write numbers up to 100
  • Group items together to make counting faster
  • Practise our spelling journal words
  • Practise throwing and catching
